The year 2026 marks an important phase in the Maran District Council's journey towards forming a progressive, technology-based, resilient and sustainable local authority, in line with the aspirations of MADANI Malaysia, the Public Service Reform Agenda and the commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Maran District Council will continue to be committed to strengthening the digitalization of services as a key catalyst for organizational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This smart city approach is not just about the use of technology, but encompasses smart governance, smart services and smart communities, which ultimately improve the quality of life of the people and strengthen public trust in PBT services.
In line with the Public Service Reform Agenda, the Maran District Council will continue to strengthen a work culture of integrity, transparency, responsiveness and high performance. Improvements in work processes, strengthening of governance, increasing employee competence and the use of technology as a facilitator will continue to be strengthened.
